For my WordPress Credits project, I chose the Photos Team and the WordPress Photo Directory.
Why I Chose This Team
I chose the Photos Team because photography is one of my personal interests. I enjoy taking photos with my smartphone and drone. I like capturing landscapes, nature, architecture, and interesting places. This project allows me to combine my interest in photography with open-source contribution.
Contribution Project
My project will focus on contributing original photographs to the WordPress Photo Directory. I plan to submit photos that meet the directory guidelines and can be freely used by the WordPress community.
Relationship to My Skills and Interests
This project matches my interests in technology, creativity, and photography. I already enjoy taking photos and learning about digital tools, so contributing to the Photo Directory feels like a natural fit.
What I Expect to Learn
I hope to learn more about the WordPress contribution process, image licensing, content review guidelines, and how open-source communities work together.
What I Hope to Achieve
By the end of the program, I hope to have several photographs accepted into the WordPress Photo Directory and gain valuable experience contributing to a global open-source project.
